I walked for more than 5KMs to the shooting spot, which I have forgotten
the name, only to find out to my disappointment that the fog was too
thick, covering almost every thing beneath it. Feeling tired and upset I
decided to walk back to my vehicle. Another tortuous 5KMs I said to
myself. As I looked up into the sky, I noticed this marvelous view, the
golden sunlight shinning on the trees with the blue sky as background
rendered such a beautiful composition.
Quickly I dropped my tripod and backpack and took out my wide angle lens
and started shooting. I metered the sky and bracketed.
When I examined the raw files, I was happy to find that the results were
very close to what I had seen. The tiring 5KMs seemed worth it. Remind
me, also, that the next time I walk, not only do I have to look forward
but upward as well. |
