Enigma of the Masses

We had a lot of fun creating this composition. When I told the kids about my concept, they listened with great interest. They could participate, but only if I was allowed to paint their hands white. They looked at me with wide eyes, and all of them jumped at the chance to try.

How could they refuse something so crazy?

Pressing the shutter was not the difficult part.

The hardest thing was getting the kids to put out their hands and line up their arms from top to bottom, in the position I wanted.

The kids were cheeky, and not so obedient.

By the time they put on the paint, they were already having fun. Their faces and legs were covered with paint.

Naturally, all the poses varied, each with its own style.

I told them that I would take them for a treat at a fast food restaurant after I finished shooting. They finally gave me a moment of silence and put out their hands just the way I wanted.

I immediately captured the moment.

“Can you guess how many children were involved in the shoot?”

After the session, I kept my promise and took the kids to the fast food restaurant to eat all they wanted.

This creation won several awards at international salons. When I told the kids the news, they seemed very happy.

Later on, the children often asked me if there was another photo shoot and whether they needed to make a guest appearance. I do not know if it was because of the rewards from the shoot or the accolades that came with the work. Whatever the reason, it turned out to be a great success for all.
