I can't really tell you what inspired me to create this image just that whenever I close my eyes I see this image in my head. At last I found the time to execute this shot.

The image was executed on the balcony. I tied the ball with fishing rope and ask for Mom's assistance. I ask her to dip the ball into the water and at the count of 3, she would pull the ball out. Believe me, this sound easier then done. Synchronization is everything. The splash created has spilled all over the table. To maintain the water level, we have to fill in water consistently. I shot about 1 roll to get this satisfactory action.

Part II
Ai Ling is my neighbor's kid. When I told her that I need her to help me with a shot, she seems a little uneasy. It would be interesting I assured her. She agreed. Shot with an off camera flash at 45 degree and another bounce to ceiling.
